That's the kind of gal she is and I love it. Sloane is the kind of over the top annoying character (in the best way) that kidnappers would send back within a few hours with an apology to the parents, because she would just annoy her kidnappers to the point of insanity.

She's a queen, she is a badass, she is a savage. If you take one thing out of my review then that you should read this book for Sloane. She was the MVP in Ruthless Creatures and she continues her reign in Carnal Urges. None have recurring characters, and can be read in any order.Fourth Wing put me in another slump and re-reading sloanedeclan’s diary helped me a little to get out of it again so it deserves bonus points for that. Pen Pal, Perfect Strangers, Midnight Valentine, Rules of Engagement, The Last Vampire, and all three books in the Slow Burn Series are complete standalones. However, some of my books have characters that cross over from one series to another, so to get a more nuanced reading experience and the full backstory on everyone, you * might* consider starting at the Bad Habit Series and working your way forward from there.
